Hey Jesse!

Interesting posts. The new Instagram had me a little worried at first, but I'm not worried about it anymore. People adapt. It's what we do.

It kinda sucks because the ads seem to drive down natural engagement. And a lot of the f1st gen Instagramers are a little upset about it.

I have several friends who built followings of several 100k by just posting excellent content, being consistent and engaging with people. And they did it naturally.

You used to be able to get featured by other accounts a lot and get more engagement, but things are changing.

I think the new changes are good for people who have already built they're following, and especially for marketers.

But the platform has changed a lot.

I wonder if it will affect the featured post business. I know several people who charge anywhere from $800 to $5,000 just to promote a person or business on their account. I imagine that the service will stick around, but I wonder if the new ads will change anything at all.

I'm going to start getting more serious about my Instagram.

I wonder if the old strategies that my friends used will work just as well as they did before with the new changes.

Or maybe they'll work even better. Who knows?

Thanks for the post :)
